Throughout the journey I’ve been on whilst writing ‘When Lightning Strikes’, right through to the publishing and distributing stage of the book, there were many people that have had an impact on me and I want to thank them for it.

First and foremost to my husband Richard. You were the one constant encouragement throughout this process. When I felt lost you were there supporting me, when I had questions or looking for ideas you were there for me to bounce ideas off of you. You made me laugh, you had me frustrated when you pointed out something didn’t make sense. Through all of it you never gave up on me. Words of thanks will never be enough. I love you forever and am so incredibly blessed to have you by my side.

To my Dad Peter. Wow! You have been there for me throughout the process of releasing ‘When Lightning Strikes’ and were there by my side as we built the website. You taught me so much and without you this wouldn’t have been possible. You’ve calmed me down when I thought things weren’t working out, you’ve encouraged me to be patient and have helped me grow within myself when it comes to business. I love you dad and I wouldn’t know what to do without you. Thank you.

My best friend Christie, gosh I struggle to come up with words to explain how grateful I am to have you in my life. You have had me laughing with tears running down my face more times than I could count. You have been there in my life when things felt dark and you pulled me into the light. The encouragement you’ve given me has kept me on this path and without you I wouldn’t be the person I am today. Love you babe.

To my beautiful editors Tami Fazel and Jen Densley. Ladies, waiting for your feedback was the hardest thing I’ve done throughout this whole process. It felt like years waiting for you to read it instead of only weeks. You gave me great ideas for the story, corrected my terrible spelling and have been a great support in my life. Thank you, you will never know just how much you meant to me throughout this journey.

To my friends Elizabeth and Kylie. Having professional photos with beautiful make up, wasn’t as daunting as I thought it would be with both of you there to calm me down. I’m thankful I have talented and amazing people like you in my life.

To my family and friends who have continued to support me throughout the time it took me to write and release ‘When Lightning Strikes’. There are so many of you, naming you all would be too hard as I’m sure I would forget someone. Know that all of you have been an important part in my life. Without friends who ask how it’s coming along, was important for me to keep on my toes and never give up. None of you would have let me 😉 I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Throughout this journey, I’ve not only been encouraged by my friends and family but by God too. When things got hard in my personal life he was and is always there encouraging me to keep my head up and lean on not only him but others around me. I will always be thankful for the talent he’s given me and the people his put in my life to make me a better person.
